What's your style?
Posed, formal, relaxed, photojournalist, creative, artistic, candid, traditional?
I use all shooting style in every wedding! This what makes wedding photography exciting.
My photojournalists style will capture the story of your wedding day as it unfolds naturally. Moments you expect and moments and details unexpected!!
For most people, a little directing and posing is a must to look their best, so I allow my style to move with the situation. At the right time, I will do casual posing and suggestions and will move you into better light or scene. You will love the outcome!!!
Have you photographed a wedding at my (venue/hotel/church) before? Most likely no.
But don't worry if I haven't been to your venue or churches,
I will do my online research to get an idea of your venue/churches and talk to the pastor/priest/ coordinator/etc to establish what we are allowed to do in their church/venue.
This is what I do, shoot where I haven't shot before. If you like the photographer style, don't be over concern at this point. If they got experience and the skill(understanding lighting) they can shoot anywhere and be prepared for anything. This is what I do.
Can other people take photos while you are taking photos?
Your friends and family can freely snap away. Taking pictures is fun. I allow them to enjoy the moments.
Who will actually shoot my wedding?
John(me) and my assistance that also shoot. My assistance helps me get my job done faster.
When can we see our pictures?
At most 1-2 weeks after your wedding. Most time, 2-3 days after!!!
After processing and editing, you will normally see 800+ images of your day. I don't hold back on what to shoot. The images captured during your special day are images you are proud to share and cherished for generations.
How long will I get my album?
How fast is depend on you picking your favorites images and approving any design changes. I try to make the process as simple as possible.
I like your style of shooting wedding, but I don't like the type of album you offer--can I show you other album I like from another company?
Album can be easily change. If you don't like the album I'm currently offer. I can get you another type of album. If you don't like the page layout, it can be easily re-design. It's no big issue. How photographer capture the images and how flexible in working with you to get the final product should be more important. Since you love my style of shooting wedding, I am willing to work with you on any album types or design!
So, do we get the files?
Yes, you get the file for reprint with every album package.
Can I just have all images on cd without album?
Sure, we can do images on CD without album. But I found out from our past clients that after 1 year, most clients still haven't got a chance to put their own album together.
If budget allow, it is best to go with album because I want to make sure all my clients have a finished product. that means every image is retouched, enhanced and professionally printed and bound. Leaving it all in your hand, chances are you'll never get around to it. 3years after your wedding, the CD still be sitting in a box somewhere in your computer, closet or some bank's safe deposit. Let me save you the time of you trying to put your own album together. You will love it!!!
Do you retouch your images?
I retouch picture I enlarge or print in album when needed.
Why you don't wear a suit to shoot weddings?
You hire me to work,,, so I wear nice work cloth. A tie, dress shirt and dress shoe. No suit/jacket or skirt. Because my style of work, I carry 2-3 cameras at all time and move around a lot so I don't miss capturing candid moments. Wearing jacket/suit will causes me to overheat quick and limit my creative flow.
What happens if you get sick?
Yes, like most people, I get sick--cold and flu. After 6 years in business I've never missed a wedding, so you probably don't need to worry. But in case, I have a network of photographer friends, style I like to replace.
How much for a wedding?
I do custom package to meet your need and reasonable budget. You need to fill out our contact forms for pricing details. I respond to income email very fast. When it comes down to prices, I am above reasonable.
How do we book you?
The process of hiring me is simple. You can do it via email or you can drop by to sign my contract and give me your hard earn money for the hard work I will perform your wedding day. $750 to $1,000 deposit to lock down your date.
Is deposit refundable, should our wedding be canceled?
No refund, because I use your money to feed our family. True, but here's the main reason. Upon receiving your deposit, I reserved your special date. When someone call for the exact same date, I told them "sorry, i am booked." and this mean, if you decide to cancel, I can't go back and sell the date to the lost opportunity. If it comes down to this, we are both in a lost and I am truly sorry.
I'm really busy! Can we do a phone or video consult?
Hopefully you've gotten an idea about my personalities and the quality of my work and service from our web site. Please read my past clients reviews and comments. If you feel you can trust me, you can save time by simply do everything via email and phone conversation.
Do you travel?
Yes, only if the client understand the cost of traveling and willing to help out with the expenses.
Do we need to tip?
Tip is not expected. But I love it when you take the time to write review online after you see your images.
Do we need to feed you and your assistance?
Your wedding may only be 3--4 hours long, but we normally be with you 8-10-12hours. (I normally take 5-7 minutes break to eat) 40-60minutes break if we have to run to a nearby McDonald.
Should your event last longer than scheduled, will I stay? Extra charge? Love to stay longer when needed. No extra charge upto 30min to 1hour overtime. ((I call this grace period)
First thing you would do if you won the lottery?
Well, it's depend how much. More than 10million, I would.....(((I need time to really think this over!!!)))
